Recycle for Good Causes
Recycle, reuse and raise funds to support people living with cancer
Recycle and Donate for Good
We've partnered with Recycling for Good Causes to recycle items such as:
- Jewellery - gold, silver, costume jewellery, watches, broken and damaged items (odd earrings, snapped chains or items with missing stones)
- Gadgets (cameras, games consoles, mobile phones, sat navs and MP3 players)
- Currency (UK & foreign) - any unwanted banknotes from ANY country of any age, so all of those obsolete pre-euro notes are a perfect start!
- Used stamps
Our partners at Recycling for Good Causes will reuse and recycle the unwanted items, giving the proceeds to Together Against Cancer and saving precious raw materials at the same time.
How it works
All kinds of stamps are welcome, on or off paper.
Simply cut or carefully rip the postage stamp from the used envelope, being careful that you don’t damage the stamp, and once you have a collection, pop them in an envelope making sure you have the correct postage to:
Together Against Cancer
PO Box 16992
Recycling for Good Causes will arrange collections for larger quantities of stamps weighing over 10kg. This equates to about two buckets full of stamps. Call 0800 633 5323 or email email@example.com for more information.
Donate Jewellery and Banknotes (Small Collections):
Simply use your own envelope or jiffy bag (No bigger than A5 in size) and post free of charge.
Please click here to download a freepost label, which you can attach to your envelope.
*Please do not send coins or stamps to the freepost address as the postage costs will far outweigh your donation.*
Donate Gadgets (Large Collections):
For items that won't fit into an A5 sized envelope, please call 0800 633 5323 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a polybag or sack, or find out more information about our sack recycling project.
You can get your workplace, school or group involved by requesting a recycle station in your reception area or main office. We only need one member of staff to promote the recycling internally and to contact us when the station is full for collection.
There is no cost involved, all the proceeds go to Together Against Cancer (TAC) to deliver vital services to people impacted by cancer.
