DESCRIPTION:A Sound Bath is a deeply-immersive\, full-body listening experience….\n\n\nA Sound Bath is a deeply-immersive\, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture your mind and body. \nAfter a few minutes of guided focus on the breath\, different sounds and frequencies are introduced in succession bathing you in resonance. The sounds are created by a variety of overtone-emitting instruments including crystal and Himalayan singing bowls\, chimes\, gong and percussion instruments. \nThe sounds created during a Sound Bath are an invitation into a deeper state of consciousness\, an opportunity to unplug from every day life. Each session is different\, depending on your own needs and energy in that moment. \nMany people experience profound relaxation and physical release\, others see images and colours. You may slip into deep meditation\, tap into intuition or leave with greater mental clarity. All you need to do is have an open mind\, get comfortable\, and listen. \nA sound bath is an opportunity to unplug from the every-day\, there is nothing required of you but to make yourself comfortable. If you’re coming to the centre I aim for the room to be ready for 10.30am for you to come and settle in and we will begin at 10.45am. \nIf you’d like to bring a cushion or blanket\, perhaps an eye mask as it’s daytime\, you’re very welcome. DESCRIPTION:A Nervous System Reset\n\n\nA calming two-hour\, mat-based session designed to help participants slow down\, feel comfortable and reconnect with a sense of safety in the body. This gentle workshop focuses on simple breath-led practices to help regulate the nervous system\, supporting the body to come out of fight-or-flight and move towards rest\, ease and balance. Participants are guided through soothing postures on the mat\, with a breathing technique applied into each pose to encourage calm\, comfort and regulation. Following on from her introduction to her journey\, Rachel is joining us to talk about Green Cleaning. \nJoin Rachel C-K for an introduction to green cleaning and learn some simple steps to not only reduce harmful chemicals in your home but also reduce plastic from the environment \nMany chemicals found in household products may impact your endocrine system\, respiratory system and your skin- if you have ever wanted to learn more about how to make simple and effective changes and now feel overwhelmed- now is your chance. \nThis is a super informative session on natural solutions for your home\, how to make empowered choices for your health care and how the two connect. \nYou will discover why it is so important to make these changes\, how essential oils in the home can be part of this change\, which ones to use\, what other ingredients you may need\, and watch Rachel make some simple recipes for you to use at home.
