    Join this gentle, seated workshop to learn a simple Ayurvedic self-head massage routine.This calming five-minute practice can become part of your daily routine, helping you slow down and release tension.We often carry tension in our heads through busy thoughts, daily worries and tight muscles. In Ayurveda, India’s traditional system of wellbeing, head massage is known as Shiro Abhyanga and has long been valued as a calming and nurturing practice.What to ExpectThis will be a warm and welcoming session. You will remain seated and fully clothed throughout the workshop. Iwona will gently guide you through a calming self-massage designed to help settle the mind and relax the body.The session includes:• A gentle introduction to the history and traditional benefits of Ayurvedic head massage.• Guided practice with clear, step-by-step instructions and comfortable, gentle pressure.• Quiet rest at the end of the session, allowing you a few moments to notice how you feel.You will leave with a simple five-minute routine that you can use at home whenever you would like to slow down, release tension or prepare for rest.Five kind minutes on most days can be more valuable than one hour once in a while.Good to Know• No previous experience is needed.• You are welcome to move at your own pace, make adjustments or simply sit and listen.• You will always be in control. You will massage your own head, using your own hands and choosing the pressure that feels comfortable for you.• You will receive a beautifully designed ritual card to take home, helping you remember the practice.About Your FacilitatorIwona Pietrukaniec is the founder of Niyama Yoga & Ayurveda. She is a certified Ayurvedic Massage Therapist and teaches Yoga and Yoga Nidra. She is also currently training to become an Ayurvedic practitioner.
