  • Sound Bath with Kat from Berry & Bloom

Together Against Cancer Humberstone Lane, #Unit S1, Leicester, England, United Kingdom

A Sound Bath is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience....A Sound Bath is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture your mind and body. After a few minutes of guided focus on the breath, different sounds and frequencies are introduced in succession bathing you in resonance. The sounds are created by a variety of overtone-emitting instruments including crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, chimes, gong and percussion instruments. The sounds created during a Sound Bath are an invitation into a deeper state of consciousness, an opportunity to unplug from every day life. Each session is different, depending on your own needs and energy in that moment. Many people experience profound relaxation and physical release, others see images and colours. You may slip into deep meditation, tap into intuition or leave with greater mental clarity. All you need to do is have an open mind, get comfortable, and listen.A sound bath is an opportunity to unplug from the every-day, there is nothing required of you but to make yourself comfortable. If you’re coming to the centre I aim for the room to be ready for 10.30am for you to come and settle in and we will begin at 10.45am.If you’d like to bring a cushion or blanket, perhaps an eye mask as it’s daytime, you’re very welcome. Do bring some drinking water too as a sound bath can be detoxifying and drinking plenty of water afterwards helps cleanse your body.We look forward to sharing the power of sound with you.FREE for Registered *Clients & *Carers at the TAC Wellness Centre.* Donations welcomePlease NoteWhen booking your ticket, Together Against Cancer will add you to their monthly mailing list and keep you informed of upcoming events.
